The 8" chef's knife is The Original — designed in 1886 and still the most-used tool in most kitchens. Its curved belly supports rock-chopping herbs, garlic and onions, and the length handles cabbage, squash and melon. The 3.5" paring knife takes over the moment food leaves the board: hulling strawberries, deveining shrimp, trimming fat, coring apples.

Both are precision forged from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel, hardened to 58 Rockwell, then sharpened by Wusthof's computer-controlled PEtec process for a 20% sharper edge with twice the edge retention. Full bolsters double as finger guards, and the triple-riveted full-tang handles are finished in Fresh Rosemary — a deep, grounding green from the seven-shade Classic Color collection, inspired by sunlit herb gardens.
