Opinel Parallele No.116 Bread Knife, 8 Inch Serrated Stainless Steel Blade, Wood Handle, Made in France

The Opinel Parallèle No.116 Bread Knife is the most popular of Opinel's large kitchen knives. Its gently curved, serrated 21 cm (8.27 in) blade improves cutting ability, slicing crusty country loaves, baguettes and soft bread cleanly.

The blade is X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, hardened to 56-57 HRC, highly anti-corrosive with a clean, accurate cut. Like every Parallèle knife it is half tang and stamped from a single piece of steel, which keeps it light and nimble.

Care: Wash by hand with warm soapy water and dry right away. Do not soak the knife or put it in the dishwasher, which can damage a wooden handle.
