The Opinel Parallèle Trio covers most of what a home cook does every day with three knives: a chef's knife for chopping and slicing, a carving knife for roasts and poultry, and a paring knife for peeling and detail work.

  • No.118 chef's knife, 20 cm (7.9 in) blade, 3 mm thick and rigid, with a curved edge for rocking cuts
  • No.120 carving knife, 16 cm (6.3 in) blade for roasts, leg of lamb and poultry
  • Paring knife, 8 cm (3.1 in) blade for peeling, trimming and garnishes

The blades are X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, hardened to 56-57 HRC, highly anti-corrosive with a clean, lasting edge. Choose beech handles (varnished, PEFC certified) or Italian olive wood handles with warm, figured grain.
