Opinel No.08 Olive Wood Folding Knife and Sheath Gift Set in Wooden Box, 3.35 Inch Stainless Blade, Virobloc

The Opinel No.08 Olive Wood Knife and Sheath Gift Set is one of the nicest ways to give an Opinel. It pairs the No.08 olive wood folding knife with a rugged synthetic leather sheath, all packed in a wooden pencil box with a plexiglass top that keeps the knife on display and makes a handy storage box afterward.

The handle is varnished olive wood, a hard Mediterranean wood with a yellow to orange color and dense, often twisting grain. The 3.35-inch blade is Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, hardened to 55-57 HRC and ground to Opinel's convex Yatagan profile. The Virobloc safety ring, invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, locks the blade open and closed.
