Opinel No.08 Folding Pruning and Grafting Knife, Curved Stainless Steel Billhook Blade, Beech Handle, Made in France

The Opinel No.08 Pruning and Grafting Knife is a pocket-sized billhook for gardeners, orchard keepers and anyone who grafts fruit trees or roses. Its lightly curved stainless steel blade is beveled on both sides, the classic shape for grafting and incising, and it draws through stems for clean pruning cuts. The curve is also useful for picking flowers and fruit and slicing through plant ties.

The handle is varnished PEFC-certified beech from eco-managed forests in the Jura and Vercors, and the Virobloc safety ring locks the blade open and closed, so it is safe to drop in an apron pocket between jobs.

• Blade: 3.15 in (8 cm) curved stainless steel, beveled both sides
• Handle: varnished beech, 4.3 in (10.92 cm)
• Lock: Virobloc safety ring
• Packaging: blister pack
• Made in: France

Care: Wipe sap and soil off the blade and dry it after use. Hand wash and dry right away. Do not soak the knife or put it in the dishwasher, which can damage a wooden handle.

About Opinel: Opinel has made knives in Savoie, in the French Alps, since Joseph Opinel designed his first folding knife in 1890. Every blade carries the Crowned Hand stamp, and Opinel backs its products with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
