Riedel Veloce Crystal Wine Decanter, 45 ounce Capacity

The Riedel Veloce Decanter (1330/13) was designed by Maximilian J. Riedel to reflect the move toward casual dining and a return to the essentials of wine service. Its tall, slim shape looks clean on the table and is easy to pour from and store.

Riedel lists Veloce for a wide range of wines, from mature reds to young whites and even Champagne, so one decanter can cover most of what you open at home. It is made for one standard 750 ml bottle.

Veloce is part of Riedel's premium machine-made range. That process uses glassmaking technology that allows thin, lightweight crystal glass walls and shapes that were once possible only by hand, produced in Riedel's own factories. It arrives in a RIEDEL-branded gift box.

Care: Riedel lists this decanter as dishwasher safe. Rinse it with clear water soon after use so wine does not sit in the decanter, and Riedel suggests RIEDEL Bottle Cleaner (sold separately) for stains.

About RIEDEL: RIEDEL is a family-owned glassmaker founded in 1756 and now led by the 11th generation of the Riedel family. The company is known for grape-varietal-specific wine glasses, and it makes decanters both by hand and by machine, all in crystal glass. Riedel holds that young and old wines alike can benefit from decanting, whether to separate an older wine from its sediment or to give a younger wine air so it tastes smoother and rounder.
