Browne Essentials Acacia Wood Rectangular Carving Board, 16" x 12"

The overall size and thickness of the board is good; I think it’s unlikely it will warp with proper care. The juice groove is also really helpful. I was impressed with the shipping time and how well everything was packaged. However, the board itself is extremely rough, almost as though they forgot to sand it in manufacturing. I’m hopeful it will become more smooth with use, but it is so rough that I probably would not have bought it if I had been able to feel it first. Additionally, it has a really strong smell; this has slowly dissipated over time, but it was pretty overwhelming at first.
